Entry and race details
Entry on the day is permitted; pre-entry is not available. Entry on the day fee is £5 and entries are taken in the Pavilion. Minimum age for the main fell race is 13, in line with FRA guidelines.
Junior races are included on the day. There is a free cross country style race in the park for children aged 6 to 12. Teams are not allowed for this event.
The event lists official course records for the distance: 00:16:37 (male, 1984) and 00:20:00 (female, 2005). A prize of £500 is offered for any record broken and £250 for achieving within one minute of a record.
