Sallarulo's Race for Champions at Nova Southeastern University
Sallarulo's Race for Champions is an inclusive 5K run and walk held on the Nova Southeastern University campus in Broward County, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on Saturday, November 21, 2026. The event brings the community together to walk or run alongside Special Olympics Florida athletes and proceeds support local Special Olympics programs.
Funds raised through the event support Special Olympics Florida in Broward County, which serves more than 6,000 athletes and their families each year. Athletes receive year-round sports training and competition across 19 sports, plus health services, inclusive programming, and leadership training at no cost.
Event logistics include on-site registration in the courtyard between the Carl DeSantis Building and the Rose and Alfred Miniaci Performing Arts Center. Free parking is available in the adjacent lot across from the Art Center; the garage entrance is on Ray Ferraro Jr. Blvd off SW 30th Street. A virtual participation option is offered so participants can walk or run when and where it is convenient.
