Sallarulo's Race for Champions
Sallarulo's Race for Champions is an inclusive 5K run and walk held on the campus of Nova Southeastern University in Broward County. The event takes place on Saturday, November 21, 2026, and marks the 21st anniversary of the race on this campus. Participants may take part in person or join virtually and complete their walk or run when and where it is convenient.
Funds raised by the event support Special Olympics Florida programs in Broward County. These programs serve more than 6,000 athletes and their families each year and provide year-round sports training and competition across 19 sports, health services, inclusive programming, and leadership training at no cost to athletes.
Onsite registration is located in the courtyard between the Carl DeSantis Building and the Rose and Alfred Miniaci Performing Arts Center. Free parking is available in the adjacent lot across from the Art Center; a campus parking garage entrance is on Ray Ferraro Jr. Blvd off SW 30th Street. The event includes fundraising activities and an auction; 2026 auction items shown include a New York Giants football and Star Wars memorabilia. The stated fundraising goal for 2026 is $300,000.
