This event was established in 2020 and features a course specifically designed for speed. The route is flat and fully certified under code WI21003DM, making it a recognized qualifying event for the Boston Marathon.
The course layout is spectator-friendly, allowing friends and family to view participants up to eight times from a single location. This design provides consistent support for runners throughout their distance. The event includes several different formats and distances to accommodate various athletic disciplines:
- Marathon (26.2 miles) including a relay option and an early start.
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles) available as a run or a ruck.
- 10K (6.2 miles) available as a run or a ruck.
- 5K (3.1 miles) with options for running, walking, or rucking.
- Kiddos 1K for younger participants.
The rucking events require participants to carry weighted packs, while the standard running events focus on pacing and speed. All races conclude at the same central location in Roosevelt Park, situated at the intersection of South Main Street and East Forest Street.
