NoCo Half Marathon & 10K at Boyd Lake State Park
The NoCo Half Marathon and 10K is an annual spring running event held at Boyd Lake State Park in Loveland, Colorado. Runners choose between two distances and follow mostly paved, wide walkways with about three quarters of a mile of off road surface on the south loop. The course has very little elevation gain and provides lake and wildlife views for much of the route.
Distances offered
- Half Marathon 13.1 miles
- 10K 6.2 miles
Both courses share aid stations that provide water, snacks and an electrolyte drink in 100 percent biodegradable cups. Aid station locations include water bowls for dogs. Athletes start in assigned waves with individual start times rather than a single mass start. The event is USATF sanctioned and organized as a 100 percent plant based event.
Event services and extras include packet pickup the day before and on race morning, on site parking within short walking distance of the start and finish areas with parking passes included on race bibs when required, professional chip timing, event shirts, finisher medals, free event photos and post race food and a pancake breakfast. Local vendors and a craft beer provider are planned to be on site. Awards are given to top overall finishers and top age group finishers for each distance.
