NoCo Half Marathon & 10K
The NoCo Half Marathon & 10K is an annual spring running event held at Boyd Lake State Park in Loveland, Colorado. This is the sixth annual running and registration opens in January 2027. The event offers two distances:
- Half Marathon, 13.1 miles
- 10K, 6.2 miles
The course uses smooth paved walkways with about three quarters of a mile on unpaved surface. Runners will see lake and wildlife views for much of the route and the course has very little elevation gain. Both distances pass the same aid stations where cups of water, snacks and electrolyte drink are available in 100 percent biodegradable cups. All aid stations will also provide dog water bowls.
Athletes have assigned individual start times in waves rather than a single gun start. The event is USATF sanctioned and presented as a 100 percent plant based event. Post-race food and beverages include a pancake breakfast and local craft beer from Loveland Aleworks. Every registered athlete receives an event shirt, race bib, finisher medal, professional chip timing and free event photos.
Parking is available in large lots within a short walk of the start and finish areas; bibs include parking passes when required. Athlete guides and final race notes are posted and emailed to participants in the lead up to the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
