The Noble Canyon event is set for Sep 5, 2026, at 8631 Pine Creek Road in Pine Valley, California, inside the Cleveland National Forest. Distances offered:
- 50K
- 15K
The race is USATF-sanctioned and operates under a special permit on National Forest land. Registration opens on Fri. May 1, 2026. On-site parking is available and is directed by event staff.
Course and logistics
Both courses start and finish at the Pine Creek Road location and follow the Noble Canyon Trail system. The 50K is an out-and-back route with substantial elevation gain and a mix of technical terrain, including rocky climbs, exposed ridgelines, fast descents, pine forest sections, granite-studded slopes, and canyon switchbacks with views toward the Laguna Mountains. The 15K covers a shorter portion of the same terrain.
Pre-race briefings are held for each distance. Weather can vary across elevations, with hotter conditions in lower canyons and cooler, breezier conditions at higher points; appropriate hydration, sun protection, and trail gear are recommended.
Support and volunteers
Multiple aid stations will provide hydration, electrolytes, and fueling options; volunteers assist with course safety, highway crossings, supply shuttling, and course marking. On-course photography and video coverage will be available, and each participant receives one free race photo or a purchase discount. Volunteer roles include aid station support, course marking, sweeping, and logistics. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
