Noble Canyon 50K and 15K
The event takes place in Pine Valley, California, within the Cleveland National Forest. Two race distances are offered:
- 50K trail race
- 15K trail race
Both courses start and finish at 8631 Pine Creek Road. The 50K follows an out and back route on the Noble Canyon Trail system. Terrain is technical and varied, with rocky climbs, exposed ridgelines, fast descents, stretches of pine forest, granite studded slopes, and canyon switchbacks that provide views of the Laguna Mountains. Elevation gain on the 50K is significant and the weather can vary between hot conditions in lower canyons and cooler, windy conditions at higher elevations.
Runners are supported by multiple well stocked aid stations that provide hydration, electrolytes, and fueling options. Course volunteers assist with safety at highway crossings, shuttling supplies, and route guidance. Official race photographers and videographers record on course action; participants receive one free race photo or a discount on purchases.
The event is USATF sanctioned and operates under a special permit on National Forest land. Volunteer roles include course marking, aid station support, highway safety, and logistics. Race parking is available on site and is directed by staff to manage arrivals. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
