Event overview
No Walk in the Park 5k is a monthly, fully licensed and officially measured road race held on the paved paths around Queen's Park. The event is a multi-lap course of undulating nature. The course measurement certificate is 21/363; the event licence is listed as TBC. The January edition takes place on 3 January 2026 and the event runs on the first Saturday of each month.

Entries, age and capacity
Maximum entries are 150. Minimum age to enter is 11 years. Entries close on 3 January 2026. Transfers are permitted up to two days before the event; transfers close on 31 December 2025. Entry fees are £5.00 for unaffiliated runners and £5.00 for affiliated runners.
Prizes and records
A memento is awarded to participants who complete 6 of the 12 races held over the year. Prizes are given to winners and runners up in each age category. A cash prize of £100 is offered for any male or female who breaks the course record. Current course records are 00:14:59 (male, set 13/07/2024) and 00:17:03 (female).
