Event overview
The No Longer Fatherless 5k takes place on January 10, 2026 in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. The event is based at Riverside Park, 299 S. Riverside Drive, New Smyrna Beach, FL 32168. The event program includes the following distances:

Registration for the 5k is listed at $35 and the price increases after January 3, 2026. The kids and teen events are free and open to specified age groups.
Participant information
Packet pickup is scheduled on race morning between 7:30 am and 8:15 am. All 5k participants will receive a race bib, race shirt, finisher medal, and a swag bag for early sign ups. The 5k will be chip-timed by Florida Race Day and awards will be given for the 5k based on age and gender.
The Rocket Race is a 100 m dash for children ages 1 to 12 at Riverside Park. The Big Lap Challenge is for teens ages 13 to 16 and is a full lap around the park (about 1/2 mile).
No Longer Fatherless recruits, trains, and matches mentors with young men aged 6 to 19 in Volusia and Flagler Counties through one-to-one mentoring, group mentoring, and life skills classes. The program aims to improve social and emotional behavior, school performance, leadership, decision making, career development, and community involvement.
