NJIDA Dyslexia Dash 5K Run/Walk
The NJIDA Dyslexia Dash is an outdoor sports event held at Skillman Park in New Jersey. The venue is accessible via entrances on Route 601, opposite Montgomery High School, and on Burnt Hill Road. The event features several participation options to accommodate different interests and ages.
The following distances and categories are available:
- 5K Run: A flat course designated for participants aged 13 and older.
- 2 Mile Walk: An untimed walking event.
- Kids Fun Run: A 1 mile run specifically for children aged 12 and under.
- Virtual 5K: A remote option for those unable to attend the physical location.
Each participant who completes their registration by May 10 receives a T-shirt and a race day bag. For younger attendees, the event includes organized activities provided by Fal-Rooney camp. These activities take place on-site during the morning. All local events are held within the grounds of Skillman Park, providing a flat environment for runners and walkers.
The event facilitates team participation and offers a platform for donations. Results are tracked for the 5K run, while the walk remains a non-competitive activity. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
