Memorial Main Street Mile
The Memorial Main Street Mile is a chip-timed one-mile race held in Yardley Borough on May 25, 2026, hosted by the Yardley Borough Parks and Recreation Board to benefit American Legion Post 317. The course begins at Wells Fargo Bank at 225 South Main Street and finishes at the Yardley Friends Meeting House at 65 North Main Street.
The event includes an open mile and a separate kids mile for ages 6 to 14. Children who require adult supervision may be entered in the adult open mile. Entry fees are $30 for the main mile and $20 for the kids mile. The race fee includes a t-shirt for participants who register by April 30, 2026; a limited number of shirts will be available for purchase at the bib pick-up event.
Awards include First Place Overall Male and First Place Overall Female, plus gender-specific age groups: 15-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; and 70 plus. Age group awards for first, second, and third place are based on net time. A finish within 20 minutes is required for award eligibility and the course has a 30-minute time limit.
Walkers and strollers are welcome and are asked to start at the back. Parking is recommended in Buttonwood Park. Bib and t-shirt pick-up is scheduled at the Yardley Farmer's Market in Buttonwood Park and on race morning near the start line. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
