Memorial Main Street Mile
The Memorial Main Street Mile is a chip-timed one mile running event on Main Street in Yardley Borough, Pennsylvania, organized by Yardley Borough Parks and Recreation Board to benefit American Legion Post 317. The event includes an open mile and a separate kids mile for children ages 6 to 14.
Entry fees are listed as $30 for the open mile and $20 for the kids mile. A race fee includes a t-shirt for participants who register by April 12, 2026. Registration periods are specified for each race with defined opening and closing dates.
Awards are given for First Place Overall Male and Female and for gender specific age groups: 15-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70 plus. Age group awards for first, second, and third place are based on net time rather than order of finish. A competitor must finish within 20 minutes to qualify for awards. The course has a 30 minute limit.
Walkers and strollers are permitted and are asked to start at the back. Bib pick-up is offered on a designated Saturday at the Yardley Farmer's Market in Buttonwood Park and on race morning near the start line. Parking is recommended at Buttonwood Park. Restrooms are available near the start by Legion Post 317. Awards are distributed at a brief ceremony near the Yardley Friends Meeting House.
