Memorial Main Street Mile : Yardley Borough, PA
The Memorial Main Street Mile is a chip timed one mile running event on Main Street in Yardley Borough. The event is hosted by the Yardley Borough Parks and Recreation Board and benefits American Legion Post 317. The course begins at Wells Fargo Bank (225 South Main Street) and finishes at the Yardley Friends Meeting House (65 North Main Street).
There are two entries: an adult open mile and a kids mile for children ages 6 to 14. Registration opens March 12, 2026. Adult registration closes May 23, 2026 with a fee of $30. Children’s registration closes May 25, 2026 with a fee of $20. The race fee includes a t shirt for participants who register by April 30, 2026.
Awards include First Place Overall Male and Female plus gender specific age group awards for multiple brackets (16-18; 19-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70-74; 75-79; 80+). Age group awards for first, second, and third place are based on net time. A finishing time under 20 minutes is required for award consideration and the course has a 30 minute limit.
Walkers and strollers are welcome but are asked to start at the back. Bib and t shirt pick up is available Saturday, May 23 at the Yardley Farmer's Market in Buttonwood Park between 9:00am and noon, and on race morning near the start line between 7:00am and 7:20am. Parking is recommended at Buttonwood Park. Restrooms will be available at the start by American Legion Post 317. Award medals may be collected at a brief ceremony on the grounds of the Yardley Friends Meeting House after the race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
