About the race
The Nite Lites Christmas Fun Run/Walk is a charity event held at Michigan International Speedway in Brooklyn, MI. The event offers a paved 5K course contained entirely within the Speedway; participants are asked to wear appropriate footwear for paved conditions. Runners are scheduled to begin 15 minutes before walkers.
Registration details include an early registration fee of $28.00 for adults, reduced fees for children (ages 6-12 $18.00, ages 5 and under free), and a race day registration fee of $33.00. Online registration opens June 5, 2026 and closes on November 21, 2026. Holiday merchandise is available for purchase through November 11, including a long sleeve t-shirt and a hoodie at listed prices while supplies last.
All participants will receive reindeer antlers as part of race entry. Proceeds from the event benefit Columbia Central High School Class of 2028. The course is noted for being inside the Speedway and paved; additional site details and on-site procedures are provided by the organizer.
