Krueger Reindeer Romp 5K
The Krueger Reindeer Romp 5K is an annual holiday event held at the Harris YMCA in SouthPark, Charlotte, North Carolina. The 2026 edition is the 13th running of this community race, which supports YMCA programs and the YMCA Annual Campaign. The event includes a 5 kilometer course and a separate kids obstacle course run by Carolina Ninja Academy.
Participants receive event apparel; the 2026 entry includes a commemorative long sleeve t shirt and there is an option to upgrade to a hoodie for an additional $20. A support from afar option is available; remote participants receive race swag but must pick up items in person at packet pickup locations.
The Joan Bailey Kids' Obstacle Course is for children ages 12 and under. Children age 4 and younger must be supervised by an adult. A signed waiver is required for the kids obstacle course.
Registration pricing varies by date and event type. The organizer states there are no refunds for this race. Race management may cancel or modify the event due to unfavorable conditions and registration fees are not refundable in the event of cancellation due to Acts of God.
