Krueger Reindeer Romp 5K : Harris YMCA, SouthPark
The Krueger Reindeer Romp 5K is the 13th annual holiday running event held on December 5, 2026, at the Harris YMCA in SouthPark, Charlotte, North Carolina. The event supports YMCA programs and is presented with sponsors that include Coca-Cola Consolidated, Architech Sports & Physical Therapy, Sunbelt Rentals, Greater Charlotte Auto Dealers Association, Pinnacle Financial Partners, and Barringer Homes.

- Joan Bailey Kids' Obstacle Course for ages 12 and under
In 2025 the event had more than 1,000 participants. For 2026 participants receive a commemorative long-sleeve t-shirt, with an option to upgrade to a hoodie for an additional $20 during registration. Pricing for the 5K varied by registration period, with listed amounts from $35 early to $50 on race day; the kids' obstacle course fee remained $20 in the published schedule. There is also a "Support from Afar" option; all registered participants receive event swag that must be picked up in person at packet pickup locations.
The kids' obstacle course is run by Carolina Ninja Academy, is intended for ages 12 and under, and requires a signed waiver; children 4 years and younger must be supervised by an adult. Registration policies state there are no refunds, that Race Management may cancel or modify the event due to unfavorable conditions, and that registration fees are not refundable in the event of cancellation due to acts of God.
