Krueger Reindeer Romp 5K
The Krueger Reindeer Romp 5K is scheduled for December 5, 2026 at the Harris YMCA, 5900 Quail Hollow Road, Charlotte, NC. The event is organized as the 13th Annual Krueger Reindeer Romp and has been held for more than a decade.
The weekend program includes a 5K road event and the Joan Bailey Kids Obstacle Course run by Carolina Ninja Academy. The kids course is for ages 12 and under; children 4 years and younger must be supervised by an adult. A waiver is required for the Ninja course and is available on the main event page.
New for 2026, participants receive a commemorative long sleeve t shirt. There is an option to upgrade to a hoodie for an additional $20 during registration. A Support from Afar option is available for remote participants; that option is priced separately and swag must be picked up in person at packet pickup locations.
Published registration pricing shows tiered fees for the 5K and a fixed fee for the kids course. Registration policies state there are no refunds, race management may cancel or modify the event due to unfavorable conditions, and registration fees are not refundable in the event of cancellation due to Acts of God.
