Night Flight 4 Mile Run
Night Flight 2026 is the 47th annual running and walking event held on the University of Southern Indiana campus in Evansville, IN at 8600 University Blvd, Physical Activities Center and the Screaming Eagles Complex. The event takes place on July 25, 2026, and all race activities are on the USI campus.
Distances offered
- 4 miles - run or walk
- 4 miles - racewalk, walk only for the full distance
- 0.5 miles - free kids dash for ages 8 and under
Registration opens March 31, 2026 and closes July 25, 2026. Standard registration for the 4 mile events is $25, with the first 200 registrants receiving a shirt; after the first 200 the price is reduced to $20. Race day registration is $30. The kids dash is free.
The 4 mile course uses campus roads and the USI-Burdette Trail. Awards include a prize for each kids run participant, trophies for the top three male and top three female overall in the 4 mile, and medals for the top two male and top two female in each age group. Age groups are: 1-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-99. Proceeds benefit the USI Athletics track and cross country programs.
