Southcoast Health Cancer Care Nicole Podkowa 5k Walk & Run
The event is the ninth annual Southcoast Health Cancer Care Nicole Podkowa 5k Walk & Run, scheduled for Sunday, October 4, 2026. Participants may choose to walk or run the 5k either in person or virtually. A Kids Dash is available for children ages 8 and under and is free to enter.
Proceeds from the event benefit the Southcoast Health Nicole Podkowa Patient & Caregiver Fund. The fund provides financial assistance to patients treated at Southcoast Health Cancer Care and their families to help with utility payments, food, housing, transportation, cancer related supplies and other necessities.
The event includes opportunities beyond participation: Community Committee Members, volunteers, peer to peer fundraisers and sponsors are part of the planned activities. Donations are accepted separately from participation.
