Cape Cod Marathon Weekend : October 10 & 11, 2026
The Cape Cod Marathon Weekend is produced by the Falmouth Running Club, a non-profit organization. Events are staged in Falmouth, Massachusetts, with the event hub at Mullen-Hall School, 130 Katharine Lee Bates Road. Courses run along Vineyard Sound and coastal roads on Cape Cod and include ocean and Nantucket Sound views. The organizer notes the courses are open to traffic but monitored by police, flaggers and volunteers. The event does not allow buying, selling or trading of bib numbers.

- Marathon - full marathon distance (26.2 miles)
- Half Marathon - half marathon distance (13.1 miles)
- 5K - 5 kilometer race
- Marathon Relay - five legs ranging from 2.8 to 7.5 miles
- Kids' Fun Run - loops around a 1/5 mile cinder track
- Clam Chowdah Challenge - run the Half and the Full for a combined 39.3 miles
- Lobstah Challenge - run the Half and the 5K over the weekend
The half marathon is an out-and-back course along the Falmouth coastline with one short hill near the 3.5 and 9.75 mile marks. The full marathon course is described as flat and BQ-friendly. Registration opens December 1 and fees include mandatory charges. Sponsors include Shipwrecked, Martha's Vineyard Bank, The Enterprise and Marathon Sports.
