Cape Cod Marathon Weekend Events : October 10 and 11, 2026
The Cape Cod Marathon Weekend is produced by the Falmouth Running Club, a nonprofit organization, and takes place at Mullen-Hall School in Falmouth, Massachusetts. Registration opens on December 1. Courses run along Vineyard Sound and coastal roads on Cape Cod and are scheduled in early October at the start of fall foliage. The event includes multiple race formats and staged courses that remain open to traffic while being monitored by police, flaggers, and volunteers.
The event policy does not allow buying, selling, or trading bib numbers and prohibits running with another person’s registration. The full marathon is listed as access code only. Registration fees use tiered pricing that changes by date.

- Marathon 26.2 miles
- Half Marathon 13.1 miles
- Marathon Relay five legs ranging 2.8 to 7.5 miles
- 5K distance
- Kids' Fun Run loops on a 1/5 mile cinder track
- Chowdah Challenge Marathon plus Half for 39.3 miles total
- Lobstah Challenge Half plus 5K in the same weekend
Course notes include a half marathon described as a fast, scenic out-and-back with one short hill near mile 3.5 and 9.75, and a marathon described as a BQ-friendly flat and fast course with ocean views.
