The 3rd Nicola Pizza Run/Walk takes place in Lewes, Delaware on Saturday, November 8, 2025. The event is organized by Rehoboth Beach Running Co. and produced by Seashore Strider Event Production, Inc. It benefits the Warrior Weekend Program and is hosted at Nicola Pizza, 17323 Ocean One Plaza, Lewes, DE 19958. The main event is a 5k run/walk; the measured course distance is 3.11 miles.
Course, registration and race information
The course is a flat out-and-back through the 5-Points Development to the 5-Points Trail and is certified as a wheeled course. Timing uses the ChronoTrack B Chip system with separate start and finish and will use gun time. Pre-race packet pickup is scheduled the day before the race at Nicola Pizza. Registration is available online or by mail and uses tiered fees: $30 early registration through October 26, $35 through November 7, and $40 on race day. Race amenities include custom t-shirts, pizza awards, post-race refreshments and an after-party at Nicola Pizza. Awards are given to overall and masters champions and to top finishers in multiple age groups. Course rules prohibit bicycles riding alongside participants and non-registered "bandit" runners; participants must follow marked course directions.
