Nicola Pizza Run/Walk, Lewes, DE
The Nicola Pizza Run/Walk takes place on 11 July 2026 at Nicola Pizza, 17323 Ocean One Plaza, Lewes, DE. The event is organized by Rehoboth Beach Running Co. and produced by Seashore Strider Event Production, Inc., with proceeds benefiting the Warrior Weekend Program.
The course is a flat and fast out and back through the 5-Points Development to the 5-Points Trail. The distance is 3.11 miles and the course will be wheeled. Timing uses the Chronotrack B Chip system and start and finish are recorded separately with gun time.
Registration opens 30 May 2026. Fee levels are $30 through 1 November, $35 through 6 November, and $40 for on-site race day registration. Online registration via RunSignUp and mail-in registration are available; mailed entries should arrive by the Monday of race week to be guaranteed a t-shirt.
Pre-race packet pickup is available on Friday 6 November from 5 to 7 PM at Nicola Pizza where participants may also order food while collecting bibs and shirts. Race amenities include custom t-shirts, pizza-themed awards, post-race refreshments, and a post-event gathering at Nicola Pizza. Awards cover overall and masters categories plus age group prizes.
Event rules note that bicycles and nonregistered participants are not permitted on course, headphones in both ears are discouraged, and participants must follow marked course directions. Failure to follow instructions may result in disqualification. The organizer has a no refund policy with options to transfer, donate, or defer entries.
