Event Details
The Niagara Falls Craft Beer & Music Running Festival is held in downtown Niagara Falls, New York. It is the event's fourth annual edition. The event is organized by iRun WNY in cooperation with The Craft Kitchen & Bar.
Distances
The event offers several running and walking distances:
- A 15K Run
- A 10K Run
- A 5K Run
- A 1 Mile Fun Walk
Course
All events start and finish on the New York State Park Trail near the Niagara Gorge Discovery Center. The routes use out-and-back courses along the Niagara Falls State Park Pedestrian Path, following the Lower Niagara River Gorge.
Post-Race Activities
After the events, a celebration takes place at The Craft Kitchen & Bar. This includes live music, pizza from DiCamillo Bakery, and craft beer specials for participants aged 21 and over (the first beer or a soda is included). An outdoor craft show and craft vendors are also present.
Registration and Shirts
Online registration is available until the day of the event. Participants who register by a specific date (July 24th at 9 AM) are guaranteed an official event t-shirt in their requested size. Late registrants may receive an alternate gift. Packet pickup occurs at the start/finish line beginning at 8:00 AM.
Awards
An awards ceremony is held at The Craft Kitchen & Bar. Custom trophies are presented to the first-place overall male and female finishers in the 5K, 10K, and 15K races. Age group winners receive custom pint mugs.
Beneficiary
Net proceeds from the event benefit the Niagara Arts & Cultural Center (NACC) summer youth programs.
Other Information
Professional RFID timing is provided. Results are updated in real time. Public street parking and city lots are available within walking distance of the venue and start line. The event has a policy that it may be rescheduled or converted to a virtual 5K in case of foul weather or public safety concerns, with no refunds issued.
