#NFStrong-Memphis,TN is a community fundraising walk held on Sunday, November 8, 2026, at the East Parkway Pavilion in Overton Park, 389 E Parkway N, Memphis, TN. The event supports the NF Network and its mission to promote scientific research, improve clinical care, provide outreach through education and awareness, and offer support to people affected by neurofibromatosis.
The event program includes in-person and virtual participation options and a dedicated kid’s walk for children 12 and under. The virtual 5K option does not include a T-shirt. The event page lists team pages, participant lists, fundraising leaderboards, and tools for creating individual pledge pages to collect donations.
A free educational meeting about neurofibromatosis is scheduled the day before the walk; the meeting is presented as an opportunity to learn more about the condition and connect with the community. Information provided about neurofibromatosis notes it is a genetic nervous system disorder that can cause tumors on nerves, affects all races and sexes, and occurs in roughly one in every 2,500 to 3,000 births in the United States.
