#NFStrong-Memphis is a community fundraising walk and 5K event held on Sunday, November 8, 2026 at the East Parkway Pavilion in Overton Park, Memphis, TN. The event benefits the NF Network, an organization that supports scientific research, clinical care, education, awareness, and services for people affected by neurofibromatosis.
The event offers multiple participation options:

- Kid's walk for ages 12 and under

Neurofibromatosis is described as a genetic disorder of the nervous system that can cause tumors to form on nerves anywhere in the body. The organizers note that NF affects all races and sexes and occurs in about one in 2,500 to 3,000 births in the United States. NF is an autosomal dominant condition and is not contagious.
