#NFStrong-Memphis is a fundraising walk that takes place on Sunday, November 8, 2026, at the East Parkway Pavilion in Overton Park, 389 E Parkway N, Memphis, TN. The event is organized to support the NF Network and its services for people affected by neurofibromatosis.
The NF Network’s mission is to promote scientific research, improve clinical care, and provide outreach through education and awareness. Neurofibromatosis is described as a genetic disorder that causes tumors to form on nerves. It affects all races and both sexes, with an estimated incidence of about one in every 2,500 to 3,000 births in the United States. The condition is autosomal dominant, is not contagious, and about half of cases are due to spontaneous mutation. The neurofibromatoses affect more than 120,000 Americans.
Event participation includes in-person and virtual options, fundraising tools, and a youth category. Registration fees vary by option and by date. The virtual option does not include a T-shirt.
