About the race
Newry City Runners hosts annual road races that include the Half Marathon, 10K and 5K. The club describes its courses as flat and fast and notes that events are organised to support personal best performances.
The 2027 edition of the Newry City Half Marathon and 10K is scheduled for Sunday 30 May 2027. At the time of publication, registration for both races is not yet open; registration details and further information will be announced on the event Facebook page and the club website.
Race arrangements for recent editions have included a race tee, a medal, posted race bibs, food, competitions, goodie bags and category prizes. The event has involved charitable fundraising and has had capacity entries in recent years, leading the organisers to offer early bird pricing and discounts for ANI/AI members when available.
Results and race photos from recent years, including 2024 and 2025, have been published after the events. The club acknowledges sponsors and local partners in its organisation and provides route flyover videos for the 10K and Half Marathon on its event pages. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
