Event details

The 2026 Newnan's Lake 15k takes place on Saturday, January 24, 2026, in Gainesville, Florida. The race begins and ends at Earl P. Powers Park boat ramp, 5902 SE Hawthorne Rd, Gainesville, FL 32641. The course follows flat roads along Newnan's Lake. There are three water stops on course stocked with water and Gatorade.

Registration, fees and awards

Registration is online only; paper forms are not offered. Pre-registration through December 31, 2025 is priced at $40. Registration from January 1 to January 23 is $50. Day-of registration is $60. Only those who pre-register are guaranteed a T-shirt.

Age group awards are given for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places for male and female in these brackets: U19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. Top awards and trophies are offered for overall 1st, 2nd and 3rd, plus Masters male and female. Volunteer information is available from the race organizers via the event contact form.
