Newgate Mission Gobble Wobble 2026
Newgate Mission organizes a fundraising running event on November 21, 2026 at Paul G. Boorman Trail in Longview, Texas. The event raises funds to support the mission's ongoing services, including hot meals, groceries, clothing, and spiritual and social support provided throughout the year. The fundraiser contributes to keeping Newgate Mission operational.
The event features multiple distance options:
- 1 Mile Fun Run
- 5K
- 10K
Registration is free with an optional donation; registration opens October 9, 2026 and closes November 17, 2026. Teams are required to register through the event registration system. Financial gifts may be made through the registration process, via the mission's website, or on the day of the event; cash and checks are accepted.
Gobble Wobble-themed T-shirts are available for most sizes at $25 each and are included with select sponsorship levels. Shirts ordered through the registration will be available at the mission November 17–19, 2026, and shirts will also be available at the event while supplies last.
Parking is provided at Austin Bank on Loop 281. The event encourages participants to dress up as spy characters. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
