Longview Turkey Trot - Longview, TX
The Longview Turkey Trot is a Thanksgiving morning running event held in downtown Longview. The event features two distances that start at 1016 McCann Rd and follow Guthrie Trail, with packet pickup available the day before at Guthrie Park and near the downtown start/finish on race morning.

The event offers a costume contest, a team competition with awards for largest team and top fundraising team, and age-group awards for 5K and 1 Mile categories. 5K awards include overall male and female, masters (40+), grand-masters (50+), and standard age groups from 10 and under through 80 and over. 1 Mile awards recognize the top three male and female finishers in each age category. Age-group awards are available after the event and can be mailed on request.
All registered participants receive a custom race t-shirt, a finisher medal, free race photos, chip timing with live results, and bib numbers. Registration prices are listed for adults for each distance and discounts are available for specified groups. The event benefits the East Texas Food Bank and offers registrants the option to designate a portion of their entry fee to a local school or nonprofit.
