Event details
Luke's is scheduled in County Down on Thursday 21st May 2026. The main course distance is 7.30 km with a listed climb of 450 m. A short course distance is shown as 0.00 km. The event has an official difficulty rating of 3 (1,1,1). Only major junctions on the route are marked. GPS use is not allowed.
Safety and kit
This is a mandatory kit Level B - Standard event. All runners must carry the following items:
- Waterproof jacket
- Hat or buff
- Gloves
- Whistle
- Charged mobile phone with emergency number stored
- Foil blanket, bivvy bag or equivalent
The exact kit to be carried during the race will be finalised on the day depending on conditions and will be advised at registration. Random kit checks may be carried out. Failure to have the required items may lead to denial of entry or disqualification.
Entries and volunteering
No entry details are listed yet; entries for league events usually open a couple of weeks before the event. Volunteers must log in to the membership system to sign up. To qualify for end-of-year prizes, members need to have completed two non-running volunteer roles in a calendar year.
