Newburyport High Street Mile
The Newburyport High Street Mile is a one mile road race held on High Street in Newburyport, Massachusetts during the Yankee Homecoming Festival. The event offers multiple heats, including a children's heat with medals for all youth finishers, and entry categories for adults, youth, and seniors.
Prizes include cash awards for overall and age group winners. Professional race photographers will shoot the event. All finishers receive ribbons and the event provides tee shirt swag. Snacks and beverages will be available at the finish line, and beer tickets are included for a free beer and a post race viewing party at Winner's Circle Sports Bar.
Standard entry information lists a registration fee of $25. Early registration pricing applies through June 1, 2026. Registrations received by July 6, 2026 are guaranteed a T shirt. A family discount of 10 percent is available when three or more family members register using the code FAMILY. Early number pickup and last minute registration will be available; details will be announced.
Race day number pickup and registration take place at Atkinson Common, the start line in Newburyport. Photos from previous years are available and bib look up is provided under the event photos tab. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
