North Andover 4th Of July Road Race
The North Andover Booster Club will host the 46th North Andover 4th of July Road Race on July 4, 2026 at the North Andover Town Common on Massachusetts Avenue in North Andover, MA. The event includes a USATF sanctioned and certified 5K and a Kids Fun Run.

The 5K course begins on Massachusetts Avenue at the Andover Street rotary and passes through the Old Center. The route follows Johnson Street up Johnson hill, then turns onto Abbott Street and Marbleridge Road for a downhill section. Runners continue onto Salem Street past the cemetery, then through Milk Street, Chestnut Street, Andover Street, and Osgood back around the Old Center Common. The finish is near the North Andover Historical Society on Massachusetts Avenue. The Kids Fun Run starts near the Museum of Printing, circles the Common, and finishes at the starting line.
Participant items and awards are specified. Participant medals will be issued to the first 1,000 runners to cross the finish line; kid friendly medals to the first 200 Kids Fun Run finishers. Race shirts will be provided to the first 600 race registrants and Kids Fun Run shirts to the first 200 kids who pick up packets in advance. Awards include top three male and female overall in the 5K and top male and female in each defined age group. Packet pickup and on site registration are scheduled the evening before and the morning of the event at the North Andover Youth Center, 33 Johnson St. The event will be held rain or shine.
