Veterans Count Pack & Boots 5K Road Race
The 12th Annual Pack & Boots 5K takes place in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, with the course starting on Pierce Island and finishing in Prescott Park. The event includes multiple short-distance formats that run on the same day and provides on-site bib pick up and same-day registration at the starting line.
Distances offered:
- 100 meter Kids Fun Run
- One mile Survival Run with a required pack equal to 10% of participant body weight
- 5K road race
Participants who register by May 25 receive a T-shirt; a small selection of shirts will be available for sale on race day. Portable bathroom facilities are provided near the starting line and the finish area. Parking is paid; organizers list Parrott Avenue parking lot, Hanover Garage, and Foundry Place Garage as nearby options and request that vehicles not park at Strawberry Banke.
Results are published live on MillenniumRunning.com. The race is part of the Easterseals NH and Veterans Count Race Series presented by BAE Systems.
