Event overview
The BrewDog Christmas Run takes place on 29 December 2025 and is described as a fun run, not a race. The route finishes at BrewDog DogTap in Ellon. The event has a total of 200 places and its entry status is closed.
Route and logistics
Distances offered:
- 21 miles (34k) starting from BrewDog Castlegate
- 15 miles (24k) starting from Dyce
Participants run along an old railway line to Ellon. Those starting at Castlegate can join the briefing and take a train to the route; others can meet at the Dyce checkpoint. Bag transportation is provided from Castlegate and Dyce to DogTap so participants can change at the end. To return, participants may arrange a lift or walk from DogTap to the nearby Park & Ride, where buses run back to Union Square.
There are two drinks stations on the route stocked with beer, snacks and water. Participants are advised to dress appropriately for winter weather.

- £50 from 1 October 2025
Participants receive a bespoke medal and a goody bag containing a special edition t-shirt, beer, buff, snacks and water. There is an option to have a tree planted instead of a t-shirt, or to receive both for an additional £6. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
