Sherwood Pines Festive Trail Runs 2026
Wild Deer Events holds festive trail races at Sherwood Pines near Mansfield, around 20 minutes from the A1 and M1. The venue address is Sherwood Pines, Kings Clipstone, Edwinstowe, Mansfield, NG21 9JL.
Sherwood Pines sits within about 3,300 acres of Nottinghamshire woodland and contains pine trees, activity trails, play areas, bike hire, wild running and mountain biking trails. The site is associated with Robin Hood history.
Distances and event types include:
- Family 1 Mile Run: children aged 3–14; accompanying adult runs free; not canicross friendly.
- 5km Trail Run: suitable for ages 11+; canicross friendly.
- 10km Trail Run: suitable for ages 15+; canicross friendly.
- Festive Sprint and Standard Duathlons also available.
Route maps are provided for the 1 mile, 5km and 10km courses. Live chip timing is provided by Timing Up North and race results are available instantly.
Finishers of the 5km and 10km events receive an event medal, Wild Deer merchandise, mince pies and chocolates, and drinks. Family 1 Mile finishers receive an event medal, a drink, and a selection box. There is an option to add an exclusive event T shirt to an entry for £12 during registration.
