Event details
The Sherwood Pines Festive events take place on 14 December 2025 at Sherwood Pines, Kings Clipstone, Edwinstowe, Mansfield, NG21 9JL. The events are organised by Wild Deer Events. Live chip timing is provided by Timing Up North. Subsidised car parking is available on site and is paid at Forestry England pay machines. An exclusive event T-shirt is available to purchase for £12. Registration opens 06/01/2025 06:00 and closes 09/12/2025 23:59.
Races and race information
- Family 1 Mile: open to children aged 3–14; accompanying adult runs free
- 5km Trail Run: new for 2025; suitable for ages 11+; canicross friendly
- 10km Trail Run: suitable for ages 15+; canicross friendly
- Festive Sprint Duathlon: Run 5km, Cycle 15km, Run 2.5km
- Festive Standard Duathlon: Run 10km, Cycle 30km, Run 5km
One well-controlled dog per runner is allowed in the 5km and 10km events. Route maps are provided for the 1 mile, 5km and 10km routes and for duathlon legs. All finishers of the 5km and 10km receive an event medal, Wild Deer merchandise, mince pies and chocolates, and a drink. Family 1 Mile finishers receive a medal, drink and a selection box.
