Sherwood Pines Festive Duathlons 2026
Wild Deer Events stages duathlon races at Sherwood Pines Forest in Nottinghamshire, set within 3,300 acres of woodland near Mansfield. The site includes activity trails, play areas, bike hire, wild running and mountain biking routes, and is described as family friendly.
Event formats include a Festive Sprint Duathlon and a Festive Standard Duathlon. Distances are:
- Festive Sprint Duathlon: Run 5 km, Cycle 15 km, Run 2.5 km
- Festive Standard Duathlon: Run 10 km, Cycle 30 km, Run 5 km
The bike course is suitable for any off road bike. A secure transition area is provided for competitors only; race and bike numbers correspond to racking positions, small bags or boxes are permitted inside transition, bike numbers must be attached and helmets visible before entering, and bib and bike numbers are checked before exiting transition.
Live chip timing is provided by Timing Up North. All finishers receive an event medal, Wild Deer merchandise, mince pies and chocolates, and drinks. An exclusive event T shirt is available to purchase for £14.
