Sherwood Pines Festive Duathlons 2026
Wild Deer Events stages duathlons at Sherwood Pines Forest, Kings Clipstone, Edwinstowe, Mansfield (NG21 9JL) on 13 December 2026. Sherwood Pines lies within 3,300 acres of Nottinghamshire woodland and is noted for pine trees and Robin Hood history.
Event distances are offered in two formats:
- Festive Sprint Duathlon: Run 5 km | Cycle 15 km | Run 2.5 km
- Festive Standard Duathlon: Run 10 km | Cycle 30 km | Run 5 km
The bike course is suitable for any off road bike. Route maps are provided for each run and cycle leg.
A secure transition area is available for competitors only. Race number and bike number correspond to racking positions. Small bags or boxes are permitted inside transition. Bike number must be attached and helmet visible before entering; bib and bike numbers will be checked before exiting transition.
Live chip timing is provided by Timing Up North. All finishers receive an event medal, WILD DEER merchandise, mince pies and chocolates, and drinks. An exclusive event T‑shirt is available to purchase for £14. There is a subsidised car parking charge on site, payable after the event at Forestry England pay machines.
