The event is presented by Designs for Hope. The course is an offroad, single-track trail that follows the Trussville Trails and runs along the Cahaba River. Proceeds support Designs for Hope, a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit that has operated since 2011 and reports work in 21 countries across four continents.
