Powerade Panama City Beach Marathon - Panama City Beach, Florida
The event features multiple running distances around Pier Park, with an after party at Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville. Distances on offer include:
- Marathon 26.2 Miles
- Half Marathon 13.1 Miles
- 5K 3.1 Miles
- Kids Fun Run distance not listed
The Marathon and Half Marathon courses are certified. All finishers of the Marathon, Half Marathon and 5K receive a medal. Runners in those races also receive a long sleeve shirt when packets are picked up; shirt size is not guaranteed for race day pickup and registrations after November 1 may not receive the requested size.
Packet pickup is held early on December 4 at Dave & Buster's in Pier Park and on race day at Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville Main Deck. Race day pickup does not guarantee shirt sizes and no swag is distributed then. There is no race day registration; in some cases registration may still be available at packet pickup if spots remain.
On-course support includes water and/or Gatorade at mile markers, energy gels while supplies last, six portlets, posted mile signs, Bay Medical EMS and Panama City Beach Police on course. The course is not closed to traffic and closes on a rolling schedule with the entire course shutting down at 1:00. A post-race area at Margaritaville provides food and beer for runners who show their bibs; beer is served to those 21 and older. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
