About the race
The Powerade Panama City Beach Marathon takes place on December 5, 2026, in Panama City Beach, Florida. The start and finish are located in Pier Park, with an after party at Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville.
Race options listed for the event include:
- Marathon : 26.2 Miles
- Half Marathon : 13.1 Miles
- 5K Run : 3.1 Miles
- Kids Fun Run : distance not specified
All Marathon, Half Marathon and 5K participants receive a long sleeve shirt; all finishers of those races receive a medal. Kids Fun Run participants receive a participation ribbon. Awards are given for first, second, and third in each division, with overall finishing awards for Marathon, Half Marathon, and 5K.
Packet pickup is offered the day before at Dave & Buster’s in Pier Park and on race day at Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville; shirt sizes are not guaranteed at race day pickup. Live tracking is available through the RaceJoy app.
The Marathon and Half Marathon are certified courses. On-course support includes water and/or Gatorade at mile markers, energy gels while supplies last, six portlets, mile signage, and water and fruit at the start/finish. Bay Medical EMS and the Panama City Beach Police Department provide on-course presence. The course is not closed to traffic, so runners share the roadway with vehicles.
