Panama City Beach Marathon : December 6, 2025
The Panama City Beach Marathon takes place in Panama City Beach, Florida, with the start and finish in Pier Park. The event program includes:
- Marathon - 26.2 miles
- Half Marathon
- 5K
- Kids Fun Run Wheelchair divisions are included for the marathon and half marathon. The event is presented by Visit Panama City Beach and hosted by the Panama City Beach Chamber of Commerce. Marathon finishers who meet Boston qualifying standards are eligible to register for the Boston Marathon.
Course, services and logistics
The marathon and half marathon are certified courses. Mile markers and turn-around points are posted; water and/or Gatorade stations are provided on course and the start/finish area will have water and fruit. Energy gels will be available while supplies last. There will be six portable toilets on the course. Bay Medical EMS and the Panama City Beach Police Department will be on course. The course is not closed to traffic and runners will run with the flow of traffic; the course closes on a rolling schedule with the entire course scheduled to shut down at 1:00. All marathon, half marathon and 5K finishers receive a medal; runners in those events receive a long sleeve shirt and kids in the Fun Run receive a participation ribbon. Packet pickup locations are listed in Pier Park and an after party is planned at Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville for registered runners.
