Event overview
The Panama City Beach Marathon will take place on Saturday, December 5, 2026 in Panama City Beach, Florida. The event includes the following distances and categories:

The race begins and ends in Pier Park near Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville. Marathon and half marathon courses are certified. Live tracking is available through the RaceJoy app.
Logistics and services
Early packet pickup is scheduled at Dave & Buster's in Pier Park (15701 LC Hilton Jr. Dr.) on December 4. Race day packet pickup will be at Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville Main Deck (16230 Front Beach Road); shirt sizes are not guaranteed for race day pick up. Registrations made after November 1, 2026 may not receive the requested shirt size. There is no race day registration.
All finishers of the Marathon, Half Marathon and 5K will receive a medal; participants in those races will also receive a long sleeve shirt. Awards for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place will be given in each division, with overall awards for Marathon, Half Marathon and 5K. Kids Fun Run participants receive a participation ribbon.
Course and on-course support
Water and/or Gatorade will be provided on course at mile markers, with energy gels available while supplies last. Signs will be posted every mile and six portable restrooms will be on the course. The course is not closed to traffic. Bay Medical EMS and the Panama City Beach Police Department will be on course, and the entire course will close at 1:00. An after party at Margaritaville will offer complimentary gumbo and beer to runners who show their bib; beer will be provided only to those 21 or older.
