New Windsor Rodeo Run
The New Windsor Rodeo Run is a community road running event held on August 22, 2026 at the New Windsor Fair grounds in Windsor, Illinois. This edition is the 37th annual running of the event and is presented by New Windsor Fair and Rodeo Associates.
The event offers two measured road distances:
- 2 Mile
- 4 Mile
Both courses start and finish at the east entrance of the rodeo grounds and follow an out and back route on blacktop streets. Split times are recorded at each mile and aid is provided on course, with water available at mile 1 and mile 3.
Registration is available in two pricing periods. Early registration runs from May 1 through August 4 at the lower fee and a higher fee applies from August 5 through August 22. A race shirt is no longer guaranteed for registrations completed after August 4.
Awards are given by overall finish position and by age group. Overall awards use gun time to determine top male and top female in each distance. Age group awards use net time with multiple age categories and double dipping between age groups is not allowed. Timing and scoring services are provided by a third party timing company.
