Run For Hope - Coal Valley
Run For Hope is scheduled for June 27, 2026, in Coal Valley, Illinois, at The Rock Coal Valley (302 1st St, Coal Valley, IL 61240). The event routes pass through neighborhoods of Coal Valley and focus on honoring community members affected by cancer.
Distances and options include:
- 5K Run/Walk
- 1 Mile Family Fun Run
- Sleep-In/Chip-In (shirt only)
- Purina Doggy Dash with commemorative bandana
The event offers age-based entries for youth and adults. Registration fees listed in the event program include a $30 adult 5K option and a $20 youth 5K option; the 1 mile has a $25 adult option and a $20 youth option; the shirt-only Sleep-In/Chip-In has a $30 fee. The Purina Doggy Dash is available for an additional $10 for a dog bandana.
Participants can request custom race bibs that indicate who they are running for. There is also an option to place a yard sign with a loved one’s name along the race route; signs may be picked up after the event to keep.
