Royal Ball Run for Autism 5K : Milan, IL
The Royal Ball Run for Autism is a community weekend in Milan, Illinois on June 19 and 20, 2026. Events include a family carnival and a children’s fun run at the Camden Centre on June 19, followed by a 5K run/walk and a short celebration walk on June 20 near the Hy-Vee on 10th Avenue West.
Distance options for the weekend include:
- 1/4 mile Prince and Princess Fun Run
- 5K Run/Walk
- Celebration Walk of approximately 1/2 mile
Packet pick-up and late registration are available in the days before the race at the Royal Ball Run office and at the Camden Centre, with additional pick-up near the start/finish on race day. All 5K and walk participants receive a unisex race shirt. The children’s fun run offers a finisher prize and shirts for participants.
The event awards overall top three male and female finishers and places in multiple age-group divisions. A special challenge offers a cash prize for a first-place finisher who breaks the course record. A post-race party is hosted by the local Hy-Vee store.
Proceeds support local autism programs and awareness efforts in the Quad Cities area; the event has donated more than $400,000 to local autism services to date. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
