New Orleans Triathlon - September 5, 2027
Premier Event Management, producers of Escape from Alcatraz for the last 16 years, is organizing a swim-bike-run event at the LSU New Orleans Aquatic Center on the LSU New Orleans Lakefront campus in New Orleans, Louisiana. All competitions conclude inside the LSU New Orleans Lakefront Arena.
The event programme on September 5, 2027 includes multiple multi-sport formats: Super Sprint and Super Sprint Relay, Sprint and Sprint Relay, a Duathlon, and a Kids Triathlon. The Sprint format is described as a repeated sequence of Swim, Bike, Run, Swim, Bike, Run totaling 17.6 miles. The Kids Triathlon starts from the pool at the LSU Aquatic Center. Registration windows and fees are set for each event; sample entry fees listed for some events are $60 for Super Sprint, $75 for Sprint, $60 for Duathlon, and $25 for the Kids Triathlon.
