New Jersey Summer Half, 10k, and 5k
The New Jersey Summer Half Marathon takes place at Monmouth Battlefield State Park in Manalapan Township. This location is a National Historic Landmark and serves as the site of the 1778 Battle of Monmouth from the Revolutionary War. Participants run through a landscape recognized for its historical significance.
The event offers three distinct distances:
- Half Marathon (13.1 Miles)
- 10K
- 5K
The course consists of a loop format. Half marathoners complete four loops of a 3.27 mile circuit. 10K runners complete two loops of a 3.1 mile circuit, while 5K participants complete a single 3.1 mile loop. The path is tree lined and features support stations located at every mile.
Registered participants receive a race bib, a technical tee, and a finisher medal. The event utilizes chip timing and provides online tracking with a live video stream. After crossing the finish line, runners have access to finisher photos and videos. Awards are presented based on age group categories.
