About the race
The New Horizons Annual Race for Recovery is scheduled for October 10, 2026 at the IRSC Pruitt Campus in Port St Lucie, Florida. The event includes the following distances:
- 5K Run/Walk
- 1 mile Walk
The 5K follows an out-and-back route on campus. Top finishers in each age group will receive medals. There are recognitions for male and female overall finishers and male and female masters.
Technical t-shirts will be provided while supplies last. Participants can expect event swag, refreshments, and on-site food, music, and vendors.
Registration details listed for the event include a fee of $40.00, with registration opening September 2, 2026 and closing October 10, 2026.
The event is presented by Healthcite Pharmacy. Proceeds provide service assistance to area residents affected by mental or behavioral health illnesses or in need of addiction recovery support.
