Healthy Boo-Bays 5K
The sixth annual Healthy Boo-Bays 5K takes place in Port Saint Lucie, Florida. This community running event is held in Tradition Square and serves as a fundraiser for local residents. All proceeds from the race are directed to Friends in Pink, a non-profit organization that assists individuals on the Treasure Coast diagnosed with breast cancer by helping pay for necessary surgery and medical treatments.
Participants can choose from multiple race options:
- 5K (In-person)
- 0.3 Miles (Kids Fun Run)
- 5K (Virtual)
The in-person 5K offers different registration tiers. One option includes a participation medal and a shirt or tank top for those who register before the early September deadline. A separate registration tier is available for runners who do not require a shirt or medal. Participation medals are limited to the first 500 registrants.
For the virtual 5K, participants may track their own progress and upload their times to a results page. This option does not include commemorative items such as bags, shirts, or medals.
Packet pickup for in-person runners is organized at the Fleet Feet location in Tradition on the day before the race. The event organizers do not mail out race materials, including shirts or medals. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
