The New Haven Fun Run is a fundraising event supporting the New Haven Schools Foundation. The foundation uses the proceeds for education enhancement and scholarships for public school students in the New Haven Unified School District, which serves Union City and South Hayward.

The event takes place on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at the James Logan High School Track in Union City, California. It features multiple events:
- A chip-timed 5K fun run/walk, open to participants aged 1 to 99.
- Kids' races for grades K-8.
- A 100-meter Paralympian/Special Olympian race for ages 3 and up, with registrations sponsored by Mission Valley Track and Field.
Historically, the 5K event attracts a mix of runners, walkers, and participants with baby strollers. For this edition, dogs are not permitted. Organizers note that serious runners are typically positioned near the starting line ahead of more casual participants.
