3rd Annual New Garden Gobbler

The New Garden Gobbler is an annual running and walking event held at New Garden Park in Landenberg, Pennsylvania. The event serves as a benefit for Kennett Area Community Service (KACS). Participants can choose between two primary distances:

5k
1/2 mile Family Fun Run and Walk

The 5k event is chip-timed using the MYLAPS BibTag Timing System. Results are available online during and after the race. The 1/2 mile Family Fun Run and Walk is a non-timed event designed for families.

The event site features various amenities including food trucks, refreshments, and yard games. Registered participants receive T-shirts. Awards are presented to top overall male and female finishers, as well as masters winners. Age group awards are provided in 10-year increments, from 13 and under to 70 and over. There are also specific awards for the top male and female walkers.

The course is located at 8934 Gap Newport Pike. Due to insurance liability, dogs are not permitted at the event. Registration bibs are non-transferable and the organizers maintain a no-refund policy. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
