A Great Day 5K

A Great Day 5K is the inaugural evening Run/Walk taking place on November 14, 2026 at James F. Hall Trail in Newark, Delaware. The event benefits The Brenda & Wesley Charity for Hope and Education, Inc and is organized to raise pancreatic cancer awareness and to support educational opportunities.

The program includes a community check-in, an opening ceremony, and a 5K Run/Walk. Registration opens on July 27, 2026 and closes on August 27, 2026, with a registration fee of $25.00. Registered participants receive a commemorative event T-shirt if they register by October 31, and a glow-in-the-dark participant gift is provided.
