Stars and Strides Delaware : event overview
Bloom Energy’s annual Stars and Strides Delaware is a Veterans Day themed 5K run and walk held on November 14, 2026. The event combines the 5K run/walk with family-friendly activities and a program to honor veterans.
All proceeds benefit veterans and active military in Delaware through named beneficiary organizations: Delaware National Guard Youth Foundation; Stop Soldier Suicide; Aetna Hose, Hook & Ladder; Newark Police Athletic League; and Food Bank of Delaware.
Walkers are welcome and the 5K course is open for one hour. Strollers are permitted when they do not impede other participants; caregivers are responsible for stroller safety. Pets are not permitted on the course. The event does not offer refunds for registration. Registration includes a custom bib, a long sleeve shirt, and pre/post race snacks and beverages. Day of registration is available for a fee.
Volunteer and sponsorship opportunities are available to support the event and its beneficiaries.
