Entry, rules and support

Physical event entries for the 2026 races close on 10 September 2026; virtual event entries close on 31 December 2026. Minimum age rules are stated: Half Marathon 17 years, 10K 15 years, 5K 11 years, and junior races for ages 0-12. Entry to the 5K for 8-10 year olds includes one accompanying adult and requires that the child is at least 8 on race day, has completed a 5K or 10K twice before, is accompanied by an officially entered parent or guardian at all times, and has completed the booking declaration; additional consent is required for 10K participation. Full refunds are available within 14 days of purchase; refunds are not offered after that period if the entrant does not run. Courses are not suitable for wheelchair access; cyclists and child buggies are not permitted. Audio device guidance follows UKA standards - in-ear headphones are discouraged, bone-conduction devices are endorsed as a safer option, and use of audio devices will not result in disqualification in 2026.
