New Dawn Shelter 5K 2026

The event is the 12th annual New Dawn Shelter 5K held in Gladwin, Michigan on Saturday, September 12, 2026. The run and walk are organized to benefit New Dawn Shelter and carry the theme "Steps to Stability."

The course is based at North Park in Gladwin. Registration is free; the organizer asks participants to collect pledges to support the shelter. Registration opens May 8, 2026 and closes September 11, 2026.

Participants are divided into two age categories: 12 and under, and 13 and over. Prizes will be awarded to the individuals in each category who raise the highest amount of pledges.
