New Cumberland Public Library 5K on the 4th
The New Cumberland Olde Towne Association and the Friends of the New Cumberland Public Library are sponsoring the inaugural 5K on July 4, 2026. The course begins and ends in New Cumberland Borough Park near 200 Front Street, New Cumberland, PA 17070.
The route is mainly flat and travels around the park and on tree lined streets. A water stop is located about halfway along the course. Timing is provided by Black Cat Timing. Post race refreshments and awards are provided after the finish.
Awards are given to top male and female finishers and to top male and female finishers in the following age groups: under 14, 15 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, and over 70. Short sleeve T shirts are available for registrations received by May 31.
Registration opens April 2, 2026 and closes June 30, 2026. The standard registration fee is $30 and race day registration is $35. Registration and packet pick up begin at 7:15 am on race day at pavilion number 3. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
