Nevada Day Classic (October 31, 2026)
The Nevada Day Classic is an annual road race in downtown Carson City organized by the Tahoe Mountain Milers. The event offers two distances and follows a road course through the historic west side of Carson City, with the start and finish at Curry Street at McFadden Square. Costumes are highly encouraged. Net proceeds will go to Guide Dogs For The Blind and the event lists several local partners and sponsors including Kaia Fit and Tangerine Design & Web.
Participants receive a custom medal and T-shirt; entries are capped at 550. Dogs are not permitted on course as they are not covered by the event permit. There are no refunds, but entries may be transferred to the following year.
Packet pickup is held at the Brewery Arts Center on October 30 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Registration is available at packet pickup and on race day, but no cash will be accepted for on-site registrations; only credit or debit card payments are processed. Registration closes on Wednesday, October 28 at 11:59 p.m. PT. Pricing varies by date with lower rates through September 30 and higher rates for late and race day registration.
