Nevada Day Classic - Carson City
The Nevada Day Classic is a road running event in Carson City, Nevada, scheduled for October 31, 2026. It is the 37th annual running of this event, which has been held since 1989. The event is organized by the Tahoe Mountain Milers in partnership with Guide Dogs for the Blind, Kaia Fit, Tangerine Design & Web, and Lynn Mentzer Timing. Net proceeds are designated for Guide Dogs for the Blind.
The event uses a classic road course through the streets of west Carson City, with the start and finish located on Curry Street at McFadden Square. The course no longer uses Carson Street as part of the route. Costumes are highly encouraged, and dogs on course are not permitted by the event permit.

- 2 mile run/walk
All participants of all distances receive a custom medal and a T-shirt, with those items capped at 550. The event also caps total participation at 550 runners. Packet pickup is scheduled the day before at the Brewery Arts Center; race day packet pickup and registration occur at McFadden Square. Registration at packet pickup and on race day will accept credit or debit cards only; no cash transactions are available.
The 8K and 2 mile courses follow specific street-level routes through the west side neighborhoods, with course maps provided by the organizers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
