About the race
The Color Run for Debate on October 24, 2026 takes place at Fuji Park, 601 Old Clear Creek Road, Carson City, NV. Participants run, jog, or walk a two mile course while colored, non toxic powder is applied at stations along the route, leaving clothing and shirts covered in color.
The event supports the Carson High School Speech and Debate team by helping cover season entry fees and travel costs if students qualify for national competition. Entry categories listed include running and walking; the fee is reported as $21.05 for each category.
Registration before October 3 reserves a specific size of the white event shirt. Later registrants may receive shirts while supplies last, or may bring their own white attire to be colored. Shirt pickup and check in are organized at a table on the west side of the park near the playground.
Parking is available along Old Clear Creek Road or in the dirt lot near the dog park toward Vista Grande Boulevard. Water and light snacks are provided after the event in the pavilion on the east side of the park.
