Netherhall 10
Netherhall 10 is a road race in Maryport, Great Britain, scheduled for 21 February 2027. The event is a certified course of 10 Miles, measured and certified by the Association of UK Course Measurers.
Registration and race day logistics are based at the school sports centre area to the rear of the school, where race numbers will be issued. Parking is available at the school. Toilets and showers are provided in the school sports centre. Post-race refreshments are provided by club members.
The route is a single anticlockwise lap on mainly undulating country roads along the West Cumbrian coast, passing through Dearham, Bulgill and Crosby. The course starts down the road from the school and finishes in the lay-by near the school entrance. The route will be signed and marshalled, with a drinks station at around 5 miles and drinks available at the finish. Roads remain open to traffic, so competitors must follow the race director’s instructions and marshals.
Race procedures include a safety briefing prior to the start, first aid provision by 1st Aid Associates, a lead bike or car, and a sweeper runner. Prizes are presented during the buffet and after runners finish, including 1st to 3rd male and female, veteran prizes in five-year categories from age 35, and junior prizes for ages 17 to 20. Withdrawals and number swaps were allowed until 20 February 2026 with refunds subject to a small processing charge; after that date no refunds or changes were given. Entry fee is £20 plus a £0.50 fee and 5% transaction charge; if the event does not sell out, on-the-day entries are £3 above the online price.
