Course, packet pickup and race extras
The course begins on Atlantic Avenue just outside Neptune’s Park at 31st Street, runs north on Atlantic Avenue, turns at 37th Street to run south and around Rudee Loop, then returns north to finish at 30th Street. A post-race party is held in Neptune’s Park at 31st Street.
Packet pickup is available Friday, September 25 (3:00pm–8:00pm) at Smartmouth Pilot House, 313 32nd Street, and Saturday, September 26 (6:30am–7:30am) at 31st Street Park, 31st Street & Atlantic Avenue. Each runner receives a Neptune Festival T-shirt, a finisher medal, course entertainment, one ticket to the International Sandsculpting Championship, and access to the post-race party, which includes pizza, beer, hard seltzer, non-alcoholic beverages, and a DJ. Awards for top 3 male, top 3 female, and overall are announced at the post-race party; other awards will be mailed upon certification.
