Neon Nights 5K is an evening running event at Jefferson Patterson Park and Museum in Saint Leonard, Maryland. The in-person race takes place on August 1, 2026. A virtual 5K option runs from July 25 to August 2, 2026.

Logistics
The 5K course starts and ends at the Pavilion at Jefferson Patterson Park & Museum. Packet pickup is available the week of the race at Project ECHO Homeless Shelter, 484 Main St., Prince Frederick, MD. Entry includes a custom race shirt, a custom finisher medal, real-time results, and access to the finish-line festival. Registration fees vary by age and date; listed standard adult rates change by registration period and kids rates are fixed. Children ages 4-12 have a reduced fee and ages 0-3 are free.
On-site features, awards, and giving
The event features a finish-line festival with lawn games, food trucks, and local beer and wine vendors, plus a black-light DJ dance party. Awards are given to top overall male and female and to the top three males and females in these age groups: 12 & under, 13-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80+.
