Neon Nights 5K - Saint Leonard, MD
The Neon Nights 5K runs from July 25 to August 2, 2026, with an in person 5K scheduled at Jefferson Patterson Park and Museum in Saint Leonard, MD on August 1, 2026. The event is organized around an evening race setting and includes both an on site race and a virtual option.

The on site event includes a finish line festival featuring lawn games, food trucks, and local beer and wine vendors, plus a black light DJ dance party. The 5K course will start and end at the Pavilion at Jefferson Patterson Park and Museum.
Registered participants receive a custom race shirt, a custom finisher medal, and real time results. Early packet pickup is offered the week of the race at Project ECHO Homeless Shelter, 484 Main St., Prince Frederick, MD 20678.
Proceeds benefit Project ECHO and the Friends of Jefferson Patterson Park & Museum. Project ECHO provides emergency shelter and supportive housing in Calvert County. The Friends group supports educational programming and free events at the park such as Discovering Archaeology Day, Children's Day on the Farm, and American Indian Heritage Day.
Awards are given to the top overall male and female and to the top three males and females in age groups from 12 and under through 80 plus. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
