Nene Valley Races - Kings Cliffe 10K
This is a 10 km trail running event held in the Nene Valley countryside. It builds on the organizer's series of longer trail races and showcases the surrounding area. The circular route starts and finishes at KC Active in Kings Cliffe and uses a mix of easy tracks, paths, green fields, farm tracks, and disused railway lines through rolling Northamptonshire countryside.
The route is fully marked and marshaled, so participants do not need to navigate. There is a well-stocked aid station along the course. Participants are asked to bring their own cup or bottle for water at the aid station, as the event aims to be eco-friendly. The organizers suggest using their Facebook group to arrange car-sharing.
The event also offers an optional "T-shirt or Trees not Tees donation" during booking. There are no refunds for runners who cannot attend, but participants can transfer their entry to another person or defer it to the following year.
